1430 - SQL view not visible in ESE Agent

If SQL Server is installed on your machine, ESE will automatically detect this and you will see a view option for SQL as part of the user interface.

If SQL Server is installed on your machine but there is no button for the SQL view visible in your Agent, this may be because:

1. the SQL VSS Writer Service is not running,
2. a database on a local SQL Server instance has a preceding or trailing space, or
3. a service logon user doesn’t have sysadmin privileges.

We recommend checking for these issues and then relaunching the ESE Agent, which should now show the SQL view.
