The RedApp uses the backup status page to report daily on the status of all your backups. This page alerts you to any backups that completed with errors, failed, or were missed (skipped). You can also enable email alerts to receive a daily summary of this information.

How to view the backup status page
The backup status page in the RedApp displays the status of the last backup for each of your backup sets. The backup status page can be accessed from the relevant card on the Customer Overview, Company Overview or Product Overview dashboard.
On the backup status page, you will see which backups completed with errors (indicated in yellow), failed (indicated in red), or were missed (indicated in grey). Successful backups (indicated in green) are filtered out by default, but you can view them by adding this status back into the filter selection. You can also filter by product and service.
Partners that manage multiple customers can use the companies filter to see a specific customer's backups.
Click on any backup set name to expand it. From there, click View errors to see more information.
Note: To see the full backup history for an account, you will need to drill down into the backup set itself.
How to enable email notifications
You can also opt to receive a daily backup summary via email. These backup reports are permissions-based, i.e. if the user is a Partner Admin/User, the email includes only accounts for products configured for downstream customers (not for any products directly assigned to the partner that the user is assigned to). If the user is a Customer Admin/User, the email includes only accounts for products directly assigned to the user's company.
To set up email reports, go to the Settings for your user and switch on Enable daily email notifications.
You will receive a daily email summary to show you what percentage of your accounts backed up successfully or with warnings, what percentage of your backups failed, and what percentage was missed. You can then go to the backup status page in the RedApp for more detail.
