The Data Management Agent is installed on the machine that gets backed up. Use the Agent to easily manage your backups, restores, archiving, and more.

When installing your Agent, you will be asked to fill in the Storage Platform Group GUID for the account, as well as the Account Create Key. To obtain these, follow the steps in Article 1416.
