Account columns
To customise columns when viewing a Group, select the Group name in the Storage Platform and click the Columns button on the toolbar.
You will see a Customise Columns dialog box with a list of columns from which you can select your preferences. Note that the custom columns for any group will only show up in that group's list. Different groups will therefore have different lists.
The following columns are available:
Account Name | The name of the Account. |
Size | The storage space allocated to the Account. |
Data Protected (last backup) | The amount of uncompressed data protected by the last backup. |
Data Protected (all backups) | The amount of data protected by all backups, i.e. the sum of the uncompressed sizes of all files (excluding unchanged files) in all backups. If there are multiple copies of the same file, they will all contribute to the final size. If a file is patched, the resulting uncompressed file size is used. |
Restorable Data | The total data restored when restoring a full, uncompressed copy of each backup. |
Saving % | The saving as a percentage of Data Protected (all backups), i.e. Saving / Data Protected (all backups) * 100. |
On Disk | The approximate amount of disk space used on the StorageServer, based on the values within the data index. |
Account Usage | The percentage of the Account’s space that is in use. |
Backups & Roll-ups | The number of backups and roll-ups that are available to restore from. |
Last Backup | The date and time at which the last backup started. |
Create Date | The date on which the Account was created. |
Active | The Account's status (Active or Disabled). |
Overlimit | The amount of data that the DM Agent attempted to back up. If the amount of data is within the allowed spillover, the backup will be successful; otherwise it will fail. |
StorageServer | The IP address of the StorageServer to which the Account backs up. |
Client Version | The version of the DM Agent associated with the Account. |
Plug-ins & Features | The plug-ins and features installed on the DM Agent. Depending on the settings, the plug-ins will either appear as a list with each plug-in on a separate line, or in a drop-down list on a single line. If the column contains “…”, select the Account and then click the Plugins column to view the drop-down list. |
Last Backup Status | Status of the last backup. |
Registered | Whether or not the Account is part of a Registered or Evaluation (trial) Group. |
Last IP | Last IP address used by the Account. |
Protected Files | Total number of files protected by all backups. |
Data Selected | Total data selected for backup. |
Files Selected | Total number of files selected for backup. |
Saving | The saving due to compression, patching, and Account-level deduplication, i.e. the difference between Data Protected (all backups) and On Disk. |
Mirror Enabled | Whether or not mirroring is enabled for the Account. |
OS | The Operating System on which the Account is running. |
Java Version | The Java version on which the Account is running. |
Brand | The brand associated with the Account. |
GUID | The Globally Unique Identifier of the Account. |
StorageServer IP Override | If true, the Account is temporarily being directed to a different StorageServer, the IP of which is shown in the StorageServer column. |
On Disk Footprint | The actual size of the account’s backup data on the StorageServer at a specific point in time. If CalculateOnDiskFootprint is enabled on the StorageServer, the footprint will be calculated after any task that amends the data (Backup, Archive, IntegrityCheck, etc.). If AutomatedDataVerification is enabled, the StorageServer will perform a check after midnight every day to determine whether the footprint needs to be calculated. |
Archived | Whether or not the Account has been archived. |
Archived Files | Total number of archived files in the Account. |
Last Archive | The date and time at which the last archive started. |
Last Search Date | The date and time at which the last search completed. |

Work Telephone (custom only) | (example of a custom column added during deployment) |
Home Telephone (custom only) | (example of a custom column added during deployment) |
Note: A custom column will not show up in a group's list unless the column is added to a new Agent during deployment, and that Agent then connects to the group. Examples of custom columns are included in the list above.
