349 - Missing files or folders when doing a remote restore on Linux Agent

Symptom

When doing a remote restore via the Storage Platform Console, some files or folders are not displayed.

Cause

The files or folders in question contains special characters in their name, e.g.:  / ? < > \ * |

These characters are not allowed for filenames in a Windows environment (such as the Storage Platform and Console) and will not be displayed. Note, however, that extended characters such as ê and ë will be handled correctly. 

Workaround

Select the parent folder to restore the subfolder and files containing the special characters.
