An ESE backup fails with the error: "SSClientApiServiceHandler: StorageServer and AccountServer are out of sync; no backups are allowed".
A connectivity issue means that the StorageServer is unable to communicate with the AccountServer, which makes it impossible for backups to run.
This is more common when StorageServers and AccountServers are not located on the same network, and may in fact be in different data centres. Self-hosted StorageServers on the Redstor platform are included in this category.
To resolve this:
1. Ensure that all AccountServer IP ranges from this list are allowed (both inbound and outbound) from your firewall.
2. If applicable, ensure that any network address translation to the StorageServer(s) is operating as expected.
