Our Control Centre is a powerful web dashboard that enables you to manage your data securely from anywhere. You can use it to check the status of your last backups, restores, and archives, or you can scan your entire estate to see all your backup selections, files last accessed, used space, and much more.
From the Control Centre you can also do mass deployment – a new functionality for rapid rollout of large numbers of accounts without the need to generate a custom installer file for each one.
The Control Centre can be accessed from the following URLs:
On opening the Control Centre you will be in the Backup View, which contains an overview of your data management status, as well as various cards that give you more information about your data estate.
Use the icons at the top right to:
- Add a Group or Collection (if you have the required rights).
- Customise which cards you see.
This will take you to a dialog where you can see descriptions of the available cards and select which ones you wish to see.
- Generate a report
- Disable card display completely.
Information about your data is displayed in the table below the cards. To customise your table's columns, click the icon in the top right corner of the table.
Then add or remove columns as desired and click Apply.
To drill down into a specific Collection or Group, simply click its name. The cards will then adjust to reflect the details for that Collection/Group only. From the Collection/Group table, you can also drill down into a specific Account.
On the Account page you will see details of the Account's machine, as well as an overview of recent activity. You can also use the tabs to see more about a specific activity type (backups, restores, etc.).
You can also switch to the Insight View at any time for additional information and recommendations relating to your data estate. Note that Insight needs to be enabled on an Account for the Account to be included in the scans that yield this information. Bust like the Backup View, the Insight View allows drill-down to Collection/Group and Account level.
