Logical volume management (LVM) Snapshots for Linux
- The LVM Snapshot feature is used when a crash-consistent backup is required, for example when backing up database files that can be written to while a backup is in progress.
- This option will only be available if LVM is installed on the machine
- See Knowledge Base Article 1178 for more information.
The backup and restore log now includes the Operating System details.
Various enhancements in the System Report:
- Report will automatically open in your browser after saving
- AccountServer added to accounts section
- Show whether Full System Backup is On or Off
- System info included in both the backup and restore report
The Backup system info as metadata option is removed from Options > Advanced and always enabled
- Profiling option added for LVM (see above for more detail on LVM).
- InstantData can now display backups made on Linux
