A mount point is a directory (commonly an empty directory) in the currently accessible file system on which an additional file system is mounted.
By default, Redstor Online Backup Plus cannot traverse a mount point using the Files and Folders data source. To backup the mount point use the Network Shares data source.
How To Present the Mount Point for Backup
At the root of the mount point please share the folder as a UNC share. E.g. \\ServerName\ShareName. Please ensure that the backup client has sufficient permissions to backup the share.
Once the folder has been shared please open the backup client interface and select (from the backup tab) the Network Shares data source to add a source.
The backup client will now have access to backup the mount point based data.
