Centrastor provides for a two-factor authentication mechanism when inviting collaborators to share access to files and folders via e-mail. There are two "protection levels" possible; verification by e-mail or verification by SMS (text message). In either case an initial invitation e-mail message contains a link which if followed prompts for a supplementary verification code to be entered to gain access to the content. The code is automatically forwarded via a separate e-mail to the same recipient address or via a text message to a designated mobile number, depending upon the protection level selected by the party creating the invitation.
At this time the use of SMS as a protection level is subject to approval. Please contact Redstor support for further information.
