All Centrastor user accounts have a default home folder on their portal called "myfiles". [Although, these settings can be customised.]
When a user installs the device agent for Windows an automatic synchronisation is configured between this folder and a local folder embedded in the installation, the exact location of which depends upon the Operating System version installed.
Windows XP, Server 2003:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\CTERA\CTERA Agent\CloudDrive
Windows 7/8, Server 2008/2012:
C:\ProgramData\CTERA\CTERA Agent\Cloud Drive
During the installation a desktop shortcut and system tray links are created to the local "CloudDrive" folder for convenience.
Unfortunately, if the user decides to customise the local folder with which the portal "myfiles" folder synchronises, THESE LINKS ARE NOT UPDATED AND CONTINUE TO POINT TO THE DEFAULT LOCATION.
The desktop shortcut can be amended manually to point to the new local folder, as configured in the agent settings page, but the system tray links cannot. The next major release of the agent software will address this shortcoming and correct all shortcuts and links to point to the correct folder.
