The Log Analyzer application can be used to download logs directly from a Backup Pro Account and Storage Servers into a single location to expedite troubleshooting and investigation.
When configured, logs are retrieved when the "Retrieve Logs" button is clicked or by running the A5LogAnalyzer.exe /download from command prompt.
When trying to download logs initially, a server reports the the error:
"Exception 'large number' is not a valid integer value".
The combined log file size on the Account or Storage Server is greater than the maximum size that the Log Analyzer application can download.
Logs will need to be copied or downloaded manually to the appropriate Logs\Number folder in the Log Analyzer installation.
If downloaded in their Year-Month folder format, this folder structure will need to be removed and all logs for the server placed straight into the correct number folder, eg Logs\1.
With the Log Analyzer application closed, navigate into the Logs\Number folder using command line.
Run the command dir *.log /b > FileList.txt
When completed, exit command prompt and reload the Log Analyzer application. Click "Retrieve Logs" again and only incremental log changes should be downloaded from the affected server.
This should be less than the Log Analyzer size limit.
