In V7.0.1 and below the auto update process can cause a broken Backup Client when the auto update fails due to insufficient disk space on the client.
From V7.0.2 the Client Update process will always first confirm that there is sufficient free disk space. (Default is 500MB)
It is possible to adjust the value:
- Stop the Backup Client service
- Browse to the install folder eg: C:\Program Files\Attix5 Pro\Backup Client DL
- Edit the file a5backup.properties and add:
update.required.diskspace=1024 (where 1024 equals 1GB)
- Save the a5backup.properties file and restart the Backup Client service.
