When performing a StorageServer upgrade using Manage Updates the Console does not report the SS service as running.
One of the files in the StoragePlatform install folder is locked. A typical example is the LogViewer.exe is in use.
Logon to the StorageServer and ensure the LogViewer application is closed.
Perform the StorageServer upgrade again.
