Backup Pro: Support-Bundle Tool

The Backup Pro Support-Bundle Tool assists in gathering logs and settings files when logging a support call.

For backup issues on a Windows machine, the tool gathers these files as detailed in the Support Call Guidelines, copies them to a single directory, and then zips up the files to a filename of your choice. The file can then be emailed to support@redstor.com

To use the Support-Bundle Tool:

  1. Simply run the following command:
    Powershell.exe –executionpolicy bypass –file .\Support-Bundle.ps1
  2. Enter the filename for your zip file and wait for the script to complete
  3. Send the file to Redstor at support@redstor.com

Note: Sufficient disk space is required especially when copying large log files. Zip and send the files separately (as per the Support Call Guidelines).
